Hi there Controverters!

Here’s hoping your Wednesday was eventful.

Enjoyed the long weekend? Awesome 🙂

A lot of people have commented and sent personal messages to me concerning the absence of episode 10 today. Just to be absolutely clear, this was intentional. I should probably start with an apology for not hinting what would happen this week but it was for the best of reasons. This week will not go by however. To get more people talking, this week has been devoted to TRIVIA QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ROULETTE OF THE DAMNED!!!

Bear with me…there is definitely logic to my madness.

Now, I noticed that there are rarely any interactive forums on blogs stories anymore. I find it pertinent that we get talking and share our thoughts on the issues raised. These issues so far are things I would like to get your views on. so, lets get talking. IT’S TIME TO FIGHT FOR THE CHARACTERS YOU LOVE!!!

1) Who is your favourite character and why?

2) Do you support Jiro and Andrew’s relationship? If Yes/No, please state your reasons.

3) If Jiro had never kissed Andrew, they would never have found love in their “hopeless place”. Do you think that Abbey would have been happier with Jiro had this been the case?

4) What is Andrew’s best Quality?

5) What is Jiro’s best quality?

6) What is Abbey’s best quality?

7) Why do you think Jafar is the way he is?

8) Do you think Edirin could have handled the situation with Jafar better? If so, how?

9) What do you think should happen to Jafar?

10) What was your favourite scene in the story so far?

I look forward to debating these issues with you. I promise to respond to each and every comment that will be sent in on the blog. So, send in your comments and lets get the ball rolling.

Your opinions are GOLD.

Episode 10: Roulette of The Damned: THE FALL!!!

Soundtrack for Episode 10: REHAB by Rihanna.

I look forward to your comments.

Expect the unexpected!!!

    1. My favourite character is Edinrin.. She’s strong. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would leave Jafar but she did. I’m proud of her.

    2. Well, if they really love each other then why not.

    3. Yes, he’d have been happy (dunno about happier though) after all ignorance is bliss. He wouldn’t know there were latent feelings for Andrew and he’d be firmly on the straight path.

    4. His confidence and semi-openess about his sexuality.

    5. I honestly haven’t seen one yet.

    6. Abbey… Hmmmmm. She seems mostly evil but I do like the fact that she was willing to put the fear of her father aside to help her mother. Also that she was willing to forget about her anger with the friend that was sleeping with her dad.

    7. I think it’s a power thing. Probably was molested as a child by another man and to prove his manliness he feels he had to manipulate and hit people. I’m also guessing daddy issues.

    8. I think yeah… Don’t know how though.

    9. Cancer.. A painful cancer that eats him to his very soul and takes away his millions.

    10. I honestly have no take because you’ve come to surprise me in every chapter. It’s been really fun to read.

      Hi J. PHOENIX,

Your answers are insightful and interesting as always. I’m really glad that this is Trivia week for ROULETTE OF THE DAMNED.

I know a lot of people will argue your thoughts on Jiro as well as the other characters.

Looking forward to your comments as people dissect your answers if they choose to. If not, I look forward to more of your comments in subsequent episodes. Don’t worry, Episode 10 will definitely come out next week.

Just found out I don’t have a favourite. Everyone is unique in their own way. In life, we differ and represent who we are. Supporting J and A’s relationship in a way(sha). We thank GOD for the kiss, soon or later, one thing would lead another, hearts would be broken with no amends, including friendship. Andrew,Jiro and Abbey’s best quality are their different personality and the way they handle things( apart from the kitchen that we don’t know what happened). As for Edirin, like the saying goes, who wears the shoes knows where it hurts. Never been there, never would be there, don’t want to be there, so good luck to her. JAFAR…JAFAR…(I like the man sha, wish he was my father) just wow me cos I want slow punishment but not death. Let his worst fear be his day light forever. Every scene has been fantastic and thrilling.
Why do I have a feeling you stocked and you need our help to finish this wonderful story? Remember, too many hands spoil the soup oh!!!. Nice work!!!

      Hi Gola,

Glad you got your own comments posted here. Lets go through your comment shall we?

No favourite? Didn’t expect that. Glad I asked that question. 🙂
A supporter of Jiro and Andrew? Nice one!
Nice way to describe their personalities.
Edirin’s case? Hmmmm… I’ll leave that issue in the cooler. lol.
Jafar! Really? You’d like to have Jafar as a father? Another statement I never expected. Really glad I asked this question now!

Glad you’ve found all episodes amazing.

Lol… The story is ready but it’s fun to get feedback and talk with the people that are reading. No hand will enter this soup o. Trust me, there is more to come and it would be nothing you’d expect. Be ready!

Thank you for sending in your thoughts on the story so far. Its been a delight reading through your thoughts.

        Glad I gave you the shocker but my reasons;
I really love everyone, J and A are many cases around the world today, mostly in Nigeria. I would not be shocked to find out plenty families. For Jafar..yes oh, I need that man as my father, by the time am done, he would forever regret having me as a son. Definitely I would have his blood, making my evil deed twice his own.
        Waiting for a mind exposing

Firstly I must commend your creativity, that said, favourite character as far as scripting’s concerned I like the challenge in playing villain so jafar really impressive character strong, influential, controversial & very annoying, villains rock…Jiro & Andrew I just see them as tools 4 a modern day read so for the sake of the story good twist! Personally “I comment my reserve”…Abbey’s best quality I’d say the fact that d story seems to be tailored around her, dats it…& nobody has enuff reason 2 be a jackass so jafar’s inexcusable…

      Hi Qataf-Prince,

thanks for the compliments. I really appreciate it.

Jafar’s your favourite? Wow…now I really didn’t expect that one. Its an interesting point of view.

Why commment your reserve when you were going so good? lol…

I look forward to your comments in episode 10

    1. Andrew. I don’t know y but I think its cos of his persona & also d sexiness he exudes thnks to d writer.

2.yeah. 2things. They are both adults n its consented.

3.I doubt abbey would hv lived happily ever after wt jiro. Cos sincerely if Andrew didn’t end up kissing jiro , some other dude would hv eventually . And then what happens after that ? Basically d same old break up story b ut wt an extra character and some boy friend snatcher twist.

His sincerity n matter of fact attitude .

    5. he seems to be an awesome lay .

    6. She’s a tease .

    7.individual differences I guess.

8.yeah she could hv. the 1st time was a rape. How abt subsequent times. She could totally hv avoided him even if it meant staying away from her friend.

    9. Seriously, I’d love to take care of jafar personally. I’d let him fuck him all he wants anyhow he wants it and stab him right in d heart while he’s coming.

    10. All d sex scenes were my best #winks

      Hi Alexis,

      Right… down to business!!!

      1) I agree. It’s fun writing Andrew’s part, I have to confess.

      2) Mature way to look at things. You are a wise soul.

      3) Lol… I guess it’s true what people say… Not everyone is meant to be together, no matter how much you love them. Sometimes, you just need to let things go. Love isn’t nearly enough in most relationships.

      4) true

      5) hahaha

      6) Lol… true

      7) Hmmm… okay

      8) TRUE. I don’t completely agree though. But what if she felt she’d not want to never have Abbey in her life? it’s a dicey one o. Lets talk more about this.

      10) LOL…. *thumbs up*

    1. Mofe. It takes a lot for you to be fully aware of someone’s flaws and genuinely love them regardless

    2. Yes! There’s no greater feeling than being with someone you are completely open to nd vice versa

    9. Jafar should just disappear, better still let him remain in the picture and see his ex wife nd daughter abandon him nd be totally awesome in their new lives

Awesome work though, can’t wait for the next episode..

Hmmm. The controvert, I’m really ‘pressing P’ for this one o, but what can we do? You are the boss and thanks for giving me sthn to look out for on wednesdays. So far, all the characters are unique in their own way trust me, how ever, I have been left in a fix and its so funny how I thought about my favourite character before now and it took me a while to come up with one. However,

    1. Bukunmi is a. Very wonderful lady who appreciates the importance of good friendship. Mofe on his part is a lover o, it take loads of patience to love a babe like Abbey and still remain in it.

    2. I obviously support Andrew and Jiro’s relationship, in as much as they are happy, why not, that’s the koko of the matter jare, they don’t have to live their lives to please anyone.

    3. Glad Abbey went her own way cos her relationship with Jiro would have been full of too many issues. She’s gonna have to deal with the andrew and jiro ‘thing’ and would work hard to get her lover’s attention.

    4. Andrew is cute o,and charming, no wonder Jiro couldn’t resist the kiss, lol! Don’t let me say more, I don’t too talk…

      Hi Maxwell,

As always, it is such a pleasure reading your comments. I’m glad your wednesdays have become alot more than just another day. If you didn’t read the blog and comment regularly, I’d have nothing to talk about in the comments section so I thank you for your continued motivation to leave a comment.

Now, Lets get to the Trivia business…shall we? 🙂
I agree… all characters are indeed different but unique. Glad you caught on to that. that said…

      1) I’m glad you took your time to consider this question. I am such a huge fan of underdogs and I’m glad one of the underdogs of the story is your favourite character. Bukunmi has played a huge part in this story and I’m glad she’s getting the praise that is her due. The same goes with Mofe. He’s something else eh? I think of him as the Gentle Giant.

      2) Very Valid opinion. Thanks for sharing on this one. A lot of people are scared to touch this. I’m sure you have a lot of people agreeing with this as a lot of people disagree. Waiting to see a discussion on this soon.

3)Lol… true. Guess that’s the thing with OPPORTUNITY COSTS. Oh well…

4)Lol… Quit an opinion. Glad you could picture things from Jiro’s frame of mind/thought process

There is never too much talk here. Trust me, I can handle it. lol…

The next episode will come up on Wednesday. Lol…

I look forward to more of your comments. I’d be glad to have more of a discussion with you on the Trivia questions if you have more answers. Feel free to comment on what other people say as well. Like I said, its interactive.

Great. Write up I must say, engaging, and your spontaneous use of visual imagery is absolutely flawless. Thanks a lot for the write-up.
    1. Bukunmi – To start with, I’v got a friend who posses such character. Characters like this are usually carefree, truthful and live a easy life. They’re sexually active which makes society see them as wayward and promiscous, but they tend to be the best when appreciating friendship. She’s a flat character so i’ll give the “favorite” to Abbey.

Abbey depicts the conventional young adult through which the horrors of marriage is portrayed. She’s a strong lady and I believe HAWT as well. (Making Mofe go gaga)

2.No. I’m sorry, not a fan of the LGBT. I’m a dude, for me it would have been erotic and awesome if they were ladies but dude, yuck! Just my thought.

    3. Ladies are attention seekers. That attention between Jiro and Abbey was fading, he preferred whiling away his time with Andrew, so I doubt if she would have been happy with Jiro

    4.His look, fitness, charisma, confidence

    5.Charisma, fitness, looks

    6. her forgiving mind, strong personality, and she’s SEXY. ,

7.I guess he’s just a control freak who would stop at nothing to get what he wants.

8.Yes. The first sexual encounter was rape, that aint love. There’s no love when a man violates a lady. Also the subsequent encounter came willingly. She could have infomed Abbey the first day it happen. I presume Jafar’s good at it and she love’s how he handles her. That’s my only reason for her edinrin going back except Jafar charmed her.

Jafar is a coward, he should be bitten by a snake (cobra) while I watch him writhing in pain sipping champagne and tossing the antidote. That’s an animal I dread the most.

    10.I think Jafar headbutting Edinrin.

@Faizzy love your honesty but I’m confused about something.. You don’t support the Lgbt movement but won’t mind seeing two girls kissing? That’s just biased but if that’s your take on the issue.. No qualms.

        Dearest J Phoenix,

Glad you spoke up seeing as you and @Faizzy have opposing opinions. ACCORDING TO FAIZZY, GIRL ON GIRL IS PLEASING TO THE EYE BUT NOT GUY ON GUY. People will support his thoughts while others (like you) wont. Its debatable…I’m glad you chose to send this in. I’m looking forward to Faizzy replying you so we can discuss this topic at length.

      Hi Faizzy,

Thanks for the compliments. For a fairly new commenter, I’m glad you’ve sent in this length of a comment. I love this. Eager to discuss your points to the max!

      1) I couldn’t have said it any better myself. Bukunmi is quite a character but I love her despite her flaws. Still unsure who your favourite is though. Abbey or Bukunmi?

      2) Hahaha. I’m VERY GLAD YOU SENT THIS IN. I am sure a lot of people share this opinion but are silent readers. If they could like your comment, I’d most likely have a lot of likes here. That said, I’m sure you’ll have a lot of people attack you on this issue so get ready. It’s fun being able to interact and not just read the story. It’s a clean debate/discussion between readers so like I said, lets get talking. A healthy debate never hurt anyone. Your thoughts, just like everyone else that has commented, is valid and REMAINS VALID.

      3)Lol… okay.

      4)Good eye for detail.

      5) Very specific. #Nice

      6) Hahaha… Very good eye for detail and specifics. lol

      7) True.

      8) Lol. that’s certainly a smart take on things. Glad you mentioned it. Even though Edirin’s case was between her and an older man, a lot of people are in relationships with men just as young as they are but they are dealing with psychological rape where the man is telling her “if you love me, you’d sleep with me” or ask in such a sexy, pleasant way that they give in even when they aren’t ready. Guess it is what it is…

      9) lol… a discovery channel fan. Nic!

      10) lol… that never happened. Check question 10 again and feel free to answer the question again…

Thanks for this. I thoroughly enjoyed replying your comments. Looking forward to more.

To be candid, I’v got nothing against LGBT movement, but. STRONGLY detest the guy on guy ish. I’m not just comfy with it, perhaps because I am a guy. A girl on Girl is pleasing to the eye. And yes that’s because I’m a dude… I know I am biased but it just the way it is.

I love bukunmi, but she’s got few roles in the episodes, the write-ups would still be perfect without her and that’s why I gave my favourite to Abbey.

And for my answer to question 10, its obvious you’ve got the literal meaning of headbutt in your head, u fail to understand the word ‘headbutting’ was used as a slang.

    1. I would say Tari because as a child I knew what my mum went through, even as the first wife of 3 other wives living in the same apartment (4 bedroom flat) with 12 children. People wonder why I ran away from home 10 years ago. I couldn’t just bare it anymore.

    2. I personally do not support Jiro and Andrew’s relationship. Why? Yes, they are best friends and also enjoy each other’s company. It would have been okay if they left it that way, knowing they like men but not do each other. However, it would have been okay still if it took time; maybe towards the end of this great story, before they do anything or start their relationship. It would have created tension in our mind and lots of drama between the two of them.

    3. Yes, she would have been happier with him because they were still into each other before Jiro discovered himself. He might not ever discover himself even after marriage. But then, we still have married men who do guys and still chase after men/women.

    4. He has accepted his sexuality and know what he wants.

    5. Jiro…hmmmmm…he acts like a babe who just turn 20 and in love…madly in love and doesn’t care about the consequences.

    6. Decision maker. She makes her decision and act on it.

    7. Jafar is a politician and that’s the way they are. They believe because they have money they can buy the world and control everything around them. Funny how they include their family in such practice. My father is an example.

    8. Yes she would have. She has not been a true and faithful friend. If she had any respect for her friends mum, or her friend she would have given Jafar the opportunity, not even a second thought.

    9. He needs to learn a lesson emotionally. I like stories like this. They always meet with that one thing that change their story…in terms of Jafar. I believe he should have a encounter that will touch him and let this be a lesson to people like him.

    10. My fav scene was at the restaurant. A surprise dinner it truly was.

      Hi Williams,

Another new commenter. You are welcome to the joys of being heard. I already know I’m going to love replying your comment! 🙂

Now, to the business of the day!
      1) Wow. Nice choice on Tari. I appreciate the fact that you are bold enough to share your own story here. Its refreshing and educational. I really hope everyone starts to work together to stand up for people like Tari. Thank you for showing me another side to her character.

      2) Realistically, every relationship has to start from somewhere. Whether or not their relationship started at the end of the story or at the very beginning, things will happen that will test that relationship. It’s just part of life.

      3) True

      4) Nice point.

      5) Lol… I agree. Young love is usually the best isn’t it? lol

      6) I totally agree. Strong lady, Abbey.

      7) Jafar’s a lawyer but I agree that he adds politics to his decisions. I’m really glad you shared your own experience here as well. More people need to know that there are men like Jafar out there.

      8) Hmmmmm…that’s a new but valid take on things

      9) Duly noted.

To be very candid, i don’t think you understand what you have written. There is nothing for you to be irritated with. You only CHOOSE to, because you cannot fathom how someone does not like or love what you love. Put the shoe on the other foot, and imagine yourself in a gay person’s life; years of sadness and and neglect… I don’t think you can understand because you are not one.. Nothing is the way it is unless you have no choice in the decision making or the outcome of the made decision. In this case you choose to remain ignorant and I don’t blame you.. Our country will do that to you. Last but not the least, If you detest “the guy on guy ish”, then you have a little bit distaste towards the LGBT movement; after all, they are a part of the movement. It’s also hypocrisy to say because you are a guy, lesbians are off the hook to you; Nothing is manly about that, just sexual pleasures speaking. I don’t presume to know you, but human behaviour doesn’t lie. I know the truth is painful, but it’s just the way it is..
